- You need a 1" plug to run this filter on the end of the valve. The plug blocks the hose running to your intake. Our blow off valve kit comes with this plug. If you are converting your stock blow off valve or a different aftermarket valve, you will need to purchase the 1" plug. If you purchase(d) our valve, you do not need the plug.
